Abe Lincoln Edges Trojans

Atlantic lost a tough one 59-57 Monday night at home to Abraham Lincoln in non-conference boys basketball.  The game was close throughout, with the Trojans holding an 18-16 first quarter lead.  The Lynx rallied to take a 34-31 halftime edge.  The game was 46-45 after three in favor of he Lynx.  AL was led y 6-7 junior Jamison Lalk who shook off foul trouble to score 12 points.  Connor Thomas hit some big early three's and also had 12 points, while Alex Olsen scored 11.  For Atlantic, Chet Meneely spent some ky time on the bench with fouls ut still scored a game-high 16 points.  Jordan Holmes scored 14 and Taylor Petersen had ten.  Also, Dalton Franken scored nine, Kellan Benn had six and Alec Guttenfelder tossed in two.  The Trojans fall to 4-8 overall on the season.
