A rare Hawkeye 10 conference girl/boy basketball doubleheader turned into a sweep for Atlantic Thursdy night. 

In the boys game, the Trojans beat Red Oak 57-28.  The game was close at the half, with Atlantic leading 21-18.  An 18-5 third quarter helped AHS take control.  Dalton Franken scored 16 points, Jordan Holmes had 12 and Chet Meneely 11 to lead the way.  The Trojans held the Tigers to only 10 second half points.

In the girls game, Atlantic held on late to beat Red Oak 45-41.  The Trojanns, who made five of seven free throws in the first three quarters, were only five of 13 in the fourth quarter, but they made enough to win.  Jessica Hawkins led the Trojanns with 14 points and a strong effort in the middle.  Paige Kennon and Jessi Arneson each scored seven for Atlantic.
