Coach Kathy Hobson says: 

The top part of our conference is very tough and girls HS golf in Iowa has
really been improving the last few years. We got beat today by 3 quality
teams. I'm disappointed that we didn't make it a closer tournament for
the top spots. I didn't feel, for whatever reason, we were ready to play
from the start.   Congratulate Kristen Schuler and Brooke Fletcher for finishing in the top
10 as the conference really has some outstanding golfers.  And, I commend Pammy Fixmer for continuing to shoot below her season average. She has such a positive attitude and is a great teammate. She always gives her best.  Our second season starts next Monday with district play and if we hope to stay alive and play for a berth in the state meet the following Monday at Winterset (regionals), we've got to attack the course from the start of the round and stay after it.
